Hello, dear soul! Thank you for taking a moment to journey with me on this blog. I’ve never done something quite like this for social media, but I sensed it was time to open up and share more about my part of the story behind Integrate You.

If we’ve crossed paths through ministry here in Southern California over the last 15 years — welcome! If we haven’t met yet, my prayer is that these words speak to your heart, and that we can begin a connection rooted in God’s love and His goodness.

The Personal Journey: My Story From Brokenness to Integration

You could say my journey toward inner healing began in 2011, but the deeper story stretches further back. I was raised by a single mother who struggled with intense post-traumatic stress. My father left when she was five months pregnant with me. I met him once at age 18, but it left me with more confusion than closure. As a child, I believed it was my job to rescue my mom — emotionally, financially, and spiritually. That sense of responsibility wired me for co-dependency before I even knew the term.

By my early 20s, I had moved out to start a life of my own. But the wounds followed. I wrestled with anger, fear, rejection, and a deep sense of not knowing who I was. Then, at 25, I had a near-drowning experience that changed everything. In that terrifying moment, I encountered the God who saves — literally. And I knew my life would never be the same.

Two years later, I took my first psychology class at a community college, and everything began to click. I began to understand my brokenness and the emotional chaos I had carried for years. God was illuminating what needed healing. In 2006, I encountered Jesus on the streets of Los Angeles in a profound way, and my heart came alive.

When Calling Meets Training

In 2007, I enrolled in Liberty University and later graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology: Christian Counseling. That same year, I discovered an inner healing prayer ministry called Sozo. That prayer session would change the course of my life. For the first time, God went all the way back to the root of my pain — to the moment my father left — and began healing me from the inside out.

Soon after, my church hosted a Sozo training, and I knew God was calling me into spiritual direction. The prayer pastor invited me to lead the ministry, and I joyfully accepted. My passion for inner healing was growing, and I felt called to deepen my theological foundation. In 2016, I graduated from Vanguard University with a Master’s in Theology, fully committed to integrating the Word of God with the healing work I was doing through Sozo.

Healing Through Helping

As I helped others heal, God continued healing me. I learned to trust again — not just Him, but people. I experienced restoration in my relationship with my mom, and we had a sweet season of closeness before she was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. Overnight, I became her caregiver. My professional life paused, and a new, sacred season began.

After her passing, I entered a deep healing process with the Lord. The grief was intense. But so was God’s faithfulness. And even in the heartbreak, I knew: this calling, this passion for helping others encounter God’s healing — it would never leave me. I’ve seen firsthand how God re-parents, re-frames, and restores. And I love being part of that redeeming process for others.

The Birth of Integrate You

Between 2020 and 2023, something new began to stir. The ministry had plateaued, and I found myself seeking God for direction. One day, two words dropped into my spirit: Integrate You. I scribbled them on a napkin. I began dreaming, drawing out ideas, sensing pillars of wellness and wholeness come together. Then one day, standing beside my car, I noticed two letters in the middle of my license plate: IU. I had never seen them before. God was confirming the vision.

That same season in 2020, I met Emma Rose Klinger in a church parking lot. She looked me in the eye and said, "We’re going to do something together someday." At the time, I smiled, not realizing the divine setup. Emma Rose eventually trained in Sozo, began working on her doctorate in clinical psychology, and in 2023, she invited me to co-lead a trauma group at Vanguard University.

That experience was life-changing. Together, we integrated inner healing prayer with trauma-focused group psychotherapy. The results were astounding. God was birthing something new, and from that work came Integrate You International, a nonprofit dedicated to healing the whole person — spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and relationally.

Integrate You International was born — not just as an organization, but as a movement. A movement to invite others into the same healing, wholeness, and freedom that God has graciously walked me through. We look forward to connecting with you further on your own Integrate You journey!

Why Integrate You?

Because I believe wholeness is possible. Not perfection, but integration — where our mind, body, spirit, and soul come into alignment through God’s love.

What does “Integrate You” mean to me?

Integrate You is about helping others discover that kind of freedom. It's my story, yes. But it's also a space for your story to be transformed. It’s the story of God’s faithfulness to restore — spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and relationally. It’s my joy and my calling to walk with others on that journey.
